Danish state pension offset calculator
The Danish pension supplement is tapered by your income beside the state pension. Enter the income and see, with the 2026 rates, how much of the supplement you keep — and where the thresholds sit. Everything is computed in your browser; nothing you type is sent anywhere.

Which income counts?
- Offset: running payouts from the ratepension and livrente, ATP and other taxable income beside the state pension.
- Not offset: payouts from the aldersopsparing — and wealth itself: money in free portfolios doesn’t count until returns or sales become income.
- The base amount is not part of the calculator: it is only tapered by high employment income and is untouched by pension payouts.
How the calculator works
Income beyond the allowance reduces the supplement by the taper rate, krone for krone, until the supplement is gone. For married and cohabiting couples the taper applies to the couple’s combined income, and the result is the supplement per pensioner. The rates are the 2026 rules — the same constants NestEgg itself uses for drawdown plans.

From rule of thumb to plan
The calculator shows one year at a time. In reality the income shifts year by year as the ratepension, livrente and free savings pay out — and the taper moves with it. NestEgg computes the supplement year by year from the plan’s actual payouts, so the offset is built into the monthly amount instead of arriving as a surprise.
